HKS opened its doors to the Southern California Mitsubishi Evolution Club for an all-things-EVO-get-together. The event drew in 150 EVOs and an estimated 500 attendees. The highlights of the event were the raffles and a dyno session with the latest EVO, the 2006 Mivec-equipped EVO IX MR.
The raffle featured HKS EVO parts, an HKS EVC, turbo timer and an HKS RC car setup. Driving Concepts donated a pair of passes to its driving school and Mitsubishi provided a Montague folding mountain bike.
There was plenty of traffic on the HKS Dynojet as EVOs and other popular imports put the hurt on the rollers.
